Mya's Cable Knit Wrist Warmers

I made these for Mya for Christmas. They were pretty easy and fun to do. Think I might try my hand at making some more with different styles and designs.
Mya's were done in purple and black ( her fav's) so she'll be warm at both the office and in the stands at spring training!

Cabled Ear Warmer

I made this based on a pattern I found at http://tmatthewsfineart.blogspot.com/2010/01/free-knitting-pattern-headband-ear.html. Mine is a little different - I didn't work in the ribbing and I chose to add cables to the top. But the basic design is the same.

I like how it turned out and after wearing it all day today I can attest to it's being very comfortable and warm :-)

Cub Scout Quilts

Stefanie designed these quilts for the boys that were going from cub scouts to boys scout in her son's troop. All the quilts are designed the same, but with minor adjustments like: the boys name, individual picture and badges. She collected up all of the boys badges that they had earned and sewed them in the spaces between the pictures and patched of the different levels. This was a great way to be able to keep them all.

Christmas Comfort

I realized this year that I didn't have an afghan for Christmas this year and decided it was a good time to make one. The store where I usually buy my yarn has decided not to carry the Caron one pound skeins anymore so had them on sale, and for me that's the best. I found this pattern on Ravelry and it's called Stashaholic's Brain Dead Afghan.

Knit Baby Snuggle

Knit Baby Snuggle Bag & Hat
I knitted 2 of these baby snuggle sets (hat and cocoon) for my next door neighbor Dovey. She requested them for soon-to-be grandbabies. I thought they turned out really well but didn't get a very good picture so I am posting the picture from Mary Maxim's website.
Here is the pattern info : Knit Baby Snuggle Bag & Hat Item No. 99791
