So I still had quite of bit of the purple from previous baby afghans and decided to use the same pattern I did for my Christmas Comfort afghan. Not sure who is going to get this one, will probably put it away for the next person having a baby.

Christmas Comfort

I realized this year that I didn't have an afghan for Christmas this year and decided it was a good time to make one. The store where I usually buy my yarn has decided not to carry the Caron one pound skeins anymore so had them on sale, and for me that's the best. I found this pattern on Ravelry and it's called Stashaholic's Brain Dead Afghan.

Knit Baby Snuggle

I knitted 2 of these baby snuggle sets (hat and cocoon) for my next door neighbor Dovey. She requested them for soon-to-be grandbabies. I thought they turned out really well but didn't get a very good picture so I am posting the picture from Mary Maxim's website.

Green Bed Throw

I wanted a light weight blanket to go over the quilt on my bed. I got this book called "Learn to do Bavarian Crochet" by Annie's Attic. I had some yarn in two shades of green I picked up last spring and it was perfect. The fold over is the back. This blanket could also be reversible.I think the kitties approve

Baby Quilt

Stef cut out all of the different shapes for these and then sewed them on individually to create each image. Turned out beautifully! Super fun and bright for the baby boy she is making it for!

Roses

This one is another knitted dishcloth. I found this pattern on Raverly and it is called Single Rose Dishcloth. I knitted this one a little too tight and when I washed it it curled on the edge.

I wanted to try out knitting some dishcloths that had pictures in them. This pattern is called Candy Cane.

Swirly Fun

These are baby bibs I found in a magazine, Crochet Today! Special Issue 2010: Must have Gifts , and needed a project to do on the train on my recent trip to Denmark. I thought they were the cutest and would make a great baby shower gift.

Yarn used: I used leftover acrylic yarn from previous projects.

Soap Soap Soap

When I saw this pattern I thought about how my husband and I only have one soap tray and how our soaps always stick together. I made one for him and one for myself and really like them. The soaps don't stick together anymore and they fit nicer in the tray. I also like that the bag is made out of 100% cotton, so your soap is already wrapped in a washcloth. This pattern is called Spiral Soap Saver.

Here Fishy Fishy

When I saw this pattern I knew I had to do it. The fish would be perfect in a kids bathroom or in a fun kitchen. The pattern is called Fish Washcloth/Dishcloth. The last picture I am showing with the Soap Savers I made (post Soap Soap Soap). I think this would also make a lovely gift for someone.

Spiral Scraps

Some more wash/dish cloths from my tube of cotton yarn. I found this pattern on Ravelry and it is called Spiral Dishcloth.

I found this to be pretty easy and quick to whip up.
